Story:
Comedy King Rajendra Prasad's Dream Telugu Movie – Here Rajendra Prasad (Rajendra Prasad) is a retired Army Officer residing in a gated community with his wife (Jayashree). He is showing his 'Dreams’. He has a strange psychic dis-order which troubles him with terrible dreams. He is unable to differentiate between what is happening in reality and in dreams? This makes him to lead a poor social life sticking to playing of Computer War Games in his house. The only person who connects with the life is his wife. Life takes an unusual turn when his close friend cum Psychiatrist Dr. Nagendra Prasad advises. How Rajendra Prasad kills his dreams forms the interesting part of the story. Length and intensity in his dream increases finally leading to his awful death. What was that particular dream? You will find in movie.
Analysis:
Dream movie director Bhavani Shankar's script touched upon unique medical terminology and titled the film 'Dreams' which rises the interest of people. However he spoiled everything with his screenplay and direction. Total concept lacked confidence which lead to complete confusion. How he got this disease and included some commercial elements. Movie lovers will be thinking how and why Rajendra Prasad signed to this film. Camera work of Ravi Kumar has a documentary. Rajesh's background music is in tune with the subject.
Performances:
Dream is completely a one man show of Rajendra Prasad. His screen presence is what makes audience to bear the major portion of movie. The variety of costumes and hair styles makes his characterization more exciting. Slow narration and lack of strong storyline are the major drawbacks in the film.
Technicalities:
Rajesh's background music is good. Production values are ok. Bhavani Shankar's frame of thought is a big bouncer for us.
